Sushant Singh Rajput's bank account reveals no transaction in favour of Rhea Chakraborty 



The forensic audit of Sushant Singh Rajput's bank account has revealed that no transaction was done in favour of Rhea Chakraborty in last one year, as per the Mumbai Police sources.





According to Mumbai Police sources, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) which is probing into the money laundering aspects of the Bollywood actor's death, has sent a letter to Mumbai Police asking for the details of statements they have recorded and electronic evidence related to the case. 






\ Earlier in the day, the ED recorded the statement of Sushant's father KK Singh in connection with the probe into money laundering.





Vikas Singh, a lawyer of Singh told IANS, "Yes, the ED has recorded the statement of the late actor's father."





Notably, the ED registered a case of money laundering on the basis of the Bihar Police FIR filed on the complaint of KK Singh. It has earlier recorded the statement of the late actor's sister Meetu Singh.





In his complaint to the Bihar Police on July 25, Sushant's father had alleged that Rs 15 crore was withdrawn or transferred from his Sushant's account, following which the ED registered a case under the PMLA against Rhea and her family members on July 31.





Sushant who was last seen in "Dil Bechara" movie was found dead in his Bandra residence on June 14.

Folks, here's another big announcement by superstar Prabhas. After 'Radhe Shyam' and a film with Deepika Padukone, he is all set to star in another big project, which will be directed by 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' helmer Om Raut. Prabhas and Om Raut had teased on social media that a big announced is in store on Tuesday morning at 7.11 am and, 'Adipurush' it is! 





'Adipurush' will be Prabhas' 22nd film. It appears to be an action-drama and the tagline reads, "Celebrating the victory of good over evil." Here's the first look of 'Adipurush', as shared by Prabhas:




It is Prabhas' first collaboration with Om Raut. It is a 3D film and will be shot in Hindi and Telugu while it will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and several international languages. 






\ 'Adipurush' goes on floors in 2021 while it is scheduled to release in 2022.





Meanwhile, trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, "'Adipurush' is a big screen adaptation of an Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil... Talks are on with a big name to enact the part of the antagonist."





'Adipurush' is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, who also worked with Prabhas in 'Saaho'. They have also collaborated for 'Radhe Shyam'.

'Ghajini', the 2005 action-thriller was directed by AR Murugadoss. It was based on Christopher Nolan's 'Memento'. 'Ghajini' remains to be Suriya's one of the biggest blockbusters of his career. He played the role of a man suffering from short term memory loss after the murder of his girlfriend. Asin starred as his love interest.



'Vaaranam Aayiram' marked Suriya's second collaboration with Gautham Vasudev Menon. It starred him in a double role opposite three actresses - Simran, Divya Spandana, and Sameera Reddy. It emerged as the biggest blockbuster for Suriya after 'Ghajini' and is one of the 10 best Tamil films of 2008. 'Vaaranam Aayiram' captured the essence of a father-son relationship.

Suriya's role in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Rakht Charitra' remains to be his most under-rated performance but it deserves a mention. It was a sequel to the crime drama of the same name and marked the debut Suriya into the Telugu and Hindi film industries. His role as Yeturi Suryanarayana Reddy was way more convincing.


'24' is a science fiction action film written and directed by Vikram Kumar. It starred Suriya in a triple role, along with Nithya Menen and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The National Award-winning film saw Suriya as also a convincing antagonist. Apart from the aforementioned films, other notable performances of his are in films such as 'Perazhagan', 'Ayan', 'Singam' trilogy, '7aum Arivu' and others.

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti has penned yet another note for the late actor who died a month ago. Sharing a happy picture of herself with Sushant, Shweta wrote, "I wish I could hold you just one more time...". It features the brother-sister duo cheerfully smiling for the camera. 


Earlier, Shweta had offered a glimpse into Sushant's life by sharing a video of how he used to lead his life away from the glitz and glamour. Remembering the 'forever star', Shweta wrote: "A pain so precious so close that you wouldn't trade the world for it!! A wound so deep, so grave you wouldn't and couldn't ever share it!"



The video left many of us teary-eyed.

Sushant was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. He was said to be under stress and depression. An investigation is currently underway in his suicide case and over 35 people have been questioned so far. A recent investigation by Mumbai Police has revealed that the actor had bipolar disorder. Sushant will be posthumously seen in 'Dil Bechara', which will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from July 24.

This is Swara Bhasker's show and if you can overlook a wardrobe that seems randomly borrowed from what Sushmita Sen wore in "Main Hoon Na", she manages to make sufficient impact in an author-backed role.





"Rasbhari" tries to be erotic and edifying at the same time. The idea is to set up a quirky, coming-of-age drama in smalltown India buoyed by sexual fantasy. Layered within is a subtext that teases with the paranormal, in a bid to leave a broader comment on the societal urge to scuttle a woman's sexuality.





Nikhil Bhat's series spreads its dual idea over eight episodes. You have Swara Bhasker as the sizzling English teacher Shanu, who arrives in smalltown Meerut with her husband and right away conquers all the male hearts, sending boys and men alike on a trip of fantasy.





 Among Shanu's besotted brigade is Nand Kishore (Ayushmaan Saxena) whose big dream -- no surprises -- is to lose his virginity before he finishes high school. The problem is Nand seems to develop brotherly vibes with almost all the girls he knows, and that includes the odd one who makes her advances quite apparent to him. Shanu's arrival changes his life. Suddenly, Nand falls head over heels for the English teacher.

Shantanu Shrivatava's writing adds a spin to the narrative here. As Nand is drawn to Shanu's allure and even signs up for private tuitions to get close to her, he begins to hear unpalatable things about her. He learns that Shanu has been making out with many of the guys about town. As the town's women prepare to lead a charge against Shanu for snatching their husbands, the mention keeps coming up of Rasbhari, the teacher's alter ego who, we are told is the spirit of a courtesan.





Is Rasbhari to blame for the sexual transgressions that Shanu is blamed for? Or is she merely an imagination figment to let Nand protect his beautiful perception of Shanu? 8888888 Or, Rasbhari is perhaps a metaphor of Shanu's liberated sexuality, something that smalltown societal norms do not condone in a woman.





"Rasbhari" obviously set out to craft a strong statement, but the narrative struggles to put across its point. Writing erotica for the screen can be tricky business, and one would really have to strain one's imagination to think of sexually-loaded content in Indian mainstream that has assuredly put across its point (a recent commendable example would perhaps be "Lust Stories"). "Rasbhari" tries to come across as a layered allegory but the storytelling doesn't always come up with the right nuances to support the notion.





This is Swara Bhasker's show and if you can overlook a wardrobe that seems randomly borrowed from what Sushmita Sen wore in "Main Hoon Na", she manages to make sufficient impact in an author-backed role.





Interestingly, this is the second time after "Anaarkali Of Aarah" that Swara plays a smalltown temptress in a film that highlights double standards when it comes to gauging female sexuality. However, while that film stayed true to a singular intent and impressively put across its point, 'Rasbhari" gets its purpose muddled somewhere down the line, as it tries playing out its episodes.
The series obviously has an intent. It falls short in execution.
